Special Session 6: Social and Emotional Learning in the Digital Age: Assessment, Intervention, and Technological Innovation

Brief Description:

Social and Emotional Learning has become a core component of holistic 21st-century education. In an era of accelerated digital transformation, how to advance systemic SEL development through scientific assessment, effective intervention, and technological innovation has emerged as a critical challenge in global education. This special session aims to establish an interdisciplinary dialogue platform connecting educational science, psychology, and information technology, with a focus on the following cutting-edge directions: the development and validation of innovative SEL assessment tools (e.g., AI-driven multimodal analytics); the design and empirical research of technology-enhanced SEL intervention models (e.g., VR/AR scenario simulations, generative AI conversational systems); and ecosystem studies of SEL implementation based on large-scale data and systematic observation. We invite scholars from education, psychology, computer science, and related fields to submit original research encompassing theoretical exploration, technological development, empirical analysis, and practical application, collectively advancing the scientific pathways and practical paradigms for SEL development in the digital age.
